end of year celebration

PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. -- Due to recent health guideline changes, Pulaski County Special School District will allow school-level end of year celebrations for the 2020-2021 school year.

Many grade levels host graduation or other celebrations for students at the end of the school year. The District will allow for schools to host these events either virtually or in-person. In-person events will be held indoors if space allows to accommodate appropriate physical distancing based on CDC guidelines. Events may be held outdoors if weather permits.

COVID-19 precautions will be put in place to ensure the health and safety of students, staff, and guests.  Masks will continue to be required for all students, staff and guests depending on Board recommendation (April 13, 2021). Additionally, proper physical distancing will be enforced based on current CDC guidelines. Therefore, the number of guests will be limited.

Each school will send out communication for specific details on grade-level celebrations to be held at the end of the school year.
