I am a native Arkansan.  I attended and graduated from McGehee High School in McGehee, Arkansas, but I have deep roots in Memphis, Tennessee. I spent 23 years in Memphis and 16 years working for the 4th largest school district in the nation. I attended The University of Memphis as the first class of the former Memphis State, where I received my bachelor's and master's degrees. I received my Specialist & Doctorate Degrees from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. After moving to Little Rock I was hired by the Arkansas Department of Education as a School Improvement  & and Standards Support Specialist. I am a mom of two and an educator at heart. Being a part of the Joe T. Robinson High School and PCSSD family has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. This is my 24th year in education, my 4th year at Robinson High, and I look forward to an amazing school year, with amazing students, amazing staff, and an amazing administrative team. One of my personal mottos is S.I.M.P.L.Y. Educating Successful Kids. (Strategic Intentional Meaningful Purposeful Learning Yields Educating Successful Kids).
